Transport Minister gave information
In fact, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari gave information about the satellite toll system in the Parliament, in which he claimed that this system will be implemented in the coming few days. Gadkari said in his address, “We will bring satellite based system in the entire country. Toll points will be removed, you will not need to stop anywhere. The photo of your number plate will be taken. From where you will enter and from where you will exit. Only toll will be charged and it will be deducted from your bank account. No one will stop you and you will not face any problem.”
The system may be implemented in a few days
The Transport Minister also said that we are trying to implement such a system across the country before the implementation of the code of conduct. This means that satellite based toll system can be implemented in the country in the next few days. because in march Lok Sabha Elections Are going to happen and before that the Election Commission will announce the dates. The code of conduct will come into effect with the announcement of the dates.
This satellite based system will generate a photo of your car’s number plate, as soon as you cross the toll limit in any state, your toll will automatically be deducted. For this you will have to link the account, like adding balance in Fastag. Your car will not need to stop at the toll plaza and your journey will become much easier.
